Before I found out about Legacy Alliance, I had just moved to Salvation Army and I had no work. The Agency Balance Staffing that I was going to had no work for me, locally. I had just stopped smoking marijuana. A person from Legacy Alliance Staffing went to the Salvation Army and was telling people about the company. So, that following Monday I showed up at Legacy Alliance at around 7:30am, but the doors open at 8:00am. We had a meeting, we did prayer, then they gave me a chance to work. They sent me to work at the farm, then on Mondays and Wednesdays they had me go to a class that would help me with my anger problems, triggers, childhood trauma, and how to be the better person. Since, being with Legacy Alliance I have went from working at the farm to being a lead at different job sites and also becoming a security guard. I had then got kicked out of the Salvation Army, but Legacy Alliance provided me the opportunity to be housed into a transitional house and since then I have been clean and sober for around seven months. I have opened up more to people and I'm less aggressive when talking to people.
